Dr Kwan grew up in South Pasadena. His interests were basketball, mountain biking, and computers. In high school he ran Cross Country and high jumped and hurdled for Track & Field.
While attending undergraduate UCSD for 4 years, he led a few Nissan car clubs, volunteered for campus student health center, and worked in a cognitive science research lab.
Another 4 years of graduate school was done at SCUHS, during which time he was also a personal trainer and valet. His found stress relief with hiking to waterfalls that continues to today.
At his first post graduate Chiropractic assignment, he used his training in Active Release Technique (ART) to provide quick acute care treatment. He also ran Los Angeles Marathon 2 years in a row.
At his second Chiropractic assignment he learned about Gonstead technique for treating severe and chronic pain cases. During this time he was introduced to the fastest racquet sport of badminton.
Returning to Southern California and awaiting his office buildout, he provided private mobile chiropractic service to celebrities and athletes.
Since opening his private practice at Premier Chiropractic, he has been treating badminton players with chiropractic, including Olympians and top ranked international players.
Roughly half of Dr Kwan’s practice is in the realm of Personal Injury, commonly known as auto accident injuries. Other familiar areas include slip-and-fall, workers compensation, medical negligence, assault, and product defects injuries. Both patients and attorneys defer to Dr Kwan’s experience to carefully manage these conditions for a win-win-win outcome for all parties involved.
Another large portion of Dr Kwan’s practice comprises of relief from posture and pain relating to technology use such as computer, cell phone, and tablet use.
